In 1990 hair bands ruled the airways; MTV actually showed music videos and Nomad was searching far and wide for a pair of turntables and a mixer. At this time before the rise of popular mainstream DJ culture, Nomad was studying the techniques and the hottest trends from the rising stars of NYC’s underground club scene.
Linking up with rave DJ and promoter Scotty Marz Nomad joined the Kingsize Crew which produced events with the likes of DJs like Dimitri from Dee-lite, Justin Johnson, Kelly Reverb, Micro, Crystal Method.
In 1996 Nomad continued to work with the kingsize crew while teaming up with super promoter Lenny Venice. Together they threw countless parties throughout Westchester, NYC and Connecticut. Their most notable achievement was the popular White Plains club Emanon where they hosted a popular long running party which brought in top name acts like Amber, TKA, Pink, Deborah Cox and the Sugar Hill Gang. Nomad has also played legendary NYC clubs Limelight and Tunnel in addition to a residency at the legendary Sound Factory.
No stranger to high profile corporate events, Nomad has also worked parties for Tommy Hillfiger, Hustler Magazine, Armani Exchange Vibe Style Shows, BET, CBS TV, and NBC TV. Nomad’s distinct style also landed him a spot on the Area 2 tour sharing the stage with David Bowie, Moby, Busta Rhymes, Tiesto, Carl Cox, John Digweed and many more.
Nomad also creates his own tracks with Production partner Quentin Harris. Together they produce hot tribal beats and vocals for the NoQue Recordings imprint.
